Habit

a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.

BULLET JOURNAL HABIT TRACKERS FROM GOTTA DOT

You may have seen habit trackers with tons of habits… my advice, keep it simple and start with one or two.

Habits are hard enough to maintain or break, so why put multiple in the mix?

Bullet Journal Habit Tracker. Bullet Journal Habit Tracker.

Habit Tracker (pink & black)

When I first started using habit trackers I didn’t take the advice seen above. I added six habits to my tracker and that didn’t work out too well. Number one, I didn’t feel like marking each of the habits daily. Number two, it was too overwhelming.

This may work for some of you, and if so that’s great… keep doing what you’re doing.

Monthly Goals Tracker (black & green) – Monthly goals tracker

This tracker is a little different. Instead of tracking habits, I tracked goals. Each day I made a conscious effort to lose weight and save money, I would color the day if I did that.

The other goals weren’t ones that I would mark if I made an effort, they had to actually be done. For example, spend no money, read, and work out.

This tracker was still too overwhelming and I personally didn’t like it.

OCTOBER BULLET JOURNAL HABIT TRACKER USING COFFINS AND HALLOWEEN COLORS

Habit Tracker (purple & black) Coffins

This halloween inspired habit tracker is much more doable in terms of habits to track. While I still think one or two is better, three isn’t too crazy.

Again, this is just personal opinion, just do what works for you.
